Ways to make life more colorful and secret
Do you remember “The Invisible Man” story by Herbert Wells? I can explain a little bit more about the invisible world concept. Due to special chemical and physical substances (and I’m not talking about medicine), the real world can be transformed into a different one. Especially at night when the lights are off - where 3D neon worlds, the deep blue sea or the stars in the sky come to life. All of those objects have much more visual capacity then the real objects.
Photographic landscapes by day become sunsets by night due to ultraviolet light. Or take for example – ordinary office clothes turn into crazy clubbing clothes when invisible paint becomes visible by the UV lights of the club.
There are several successful technologies used by the young designers and painters in Moscow’s Visible-Invisible design studio that make our lives more colorful and more secret.
One of the most popular technologies used in interior design, landscape design and also fashion design is based on using invisible colors painted on any surface - invisible during the daytime and seen only with UV light rays.
The other technology is based on electroluminescent materials. An interesting picture on your jacket can, by means of batteries and a small control panel, be twinkling, sparkling and blinking. You just press the buttons and control the light effects.
The history of invisible colors began in Japan, where people used invisible colors to enlarge their flats - as those colors created the visual effect of a bigger space via 3D. Electroluminescent technologies began in Austria and were first used in outdoor advertisements.
Let me tell you a small story based on the real life. The young man was left by his girlfriend and he was so much depressed that he could not stay in his apartment as everything was reminding him of his unlucky love. Occasionally he met the designers from Visible-Invisible studio and they proposed him to change his apartment. One of the painters due to his talent and good intuition painted with the invisible colors a big turtle on the ceiling and the water and the seascapes. And after a short period the man was healed from his love disease. The colors were really magic.
So, create your own space and feel yourself comfortable and free to choose visible or invisible sides of life.
The design studio has its offices in Moscow and Vienna.
